1. Who we are
jokeslip.com ("jokeslip", "we", "us") is operated by Jung Yunyoung (정윤영), an individual based in the Republic of Korea.

2. What jokeslip is
jokeslip sells digital gag gift cards. You choose an image from our gallery, add your own short text, and receive:
- a printable card containing a QR code,
- a QR code image, and
- a short link.
When someone scans the QR code or opens the link, they see the image you selected together with your message. That is the entire product.
jokeslip is a novelty gift service. It is not a messaging platform, a marketing tool, or an anonymity service.
3. Who sells to you (Merchant of Record)
Payments are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record. This means Polar — not jokeslip — is the seller of record for your purchase and is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax).
Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment transaction. These Terms govern your use of the jokeslip service and the content we supply.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase.
5. No account
jokeslip does not require registration or a login. Your purchase is completed as a guest. The email address you provide during checkout is collected by Polar and is used to send you your purchase and to help you recover it later.
6. Pricing

Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes are handled by Polar at checkout and may be added to the displayed price depending on your location.
There are no subscriptions, credits, or stored balances. Every purchase is a one-time transaction, and all cards in a purchase are issued immediately.
7. Delivery and immediate access
Your cards are generated immediately after payment is confirmed. You receive them on the confirmation page and by email.
By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you therefore lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that would otherwise apply (including, where applicable, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU and UK consumer law).

8. How long your links stay active
We will keep the links and content for cards you have purchased available for at least one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Beyond that, we intend to keep them working for as long as jokeslip operates.
We may remove an item from our public gallery at any time, but doing so does not affect cards already sold — those links continue to work.
If we ever discontinue jokeslip, we will keep purchased links operating for the remainder of that one-year period and give reasonable advance notice before shutting them down.
This commitment does not apply to cards disabled under section 10.
9. Your text
You choose the text that appears on your card and on the page shown after scanning.
That text is published at a public URL on our domain. You are responsible for it. By submitting text, you confirm that it complies with our Content Policy and that you have the right to use it.
We screen submitted text automatically and may reject or later remove text that violates our Content Policy. Automated screening is not perfect and does not transfer responsibility for your text to us.
You grant us the limited right to display, reproduce, and print your text solely to produce and host the card you purchased.
10. Things you must not do
You must not use jokeslip to:
- impersonate any real business, service, or authority — including delivery companies, banks, government or law enforcement bodies, parking or traffic notices, prize or lottery notices, account or security alerts, or public Wi-Fi portals;
- harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, or target any specific person;
- publish anyone's personal information, including names, phone numbers, addresses, or account details;
- distribute links to any external site;
- place cards in public spaces in a way designed to make strangers scan a code without knowing where it came from;
- frighten, deceive, or mislead the recipient about what the code is.
jokeslip is for jokes between people who know each other. A recipient should always be able to tell that the card came from someone they know.
We may disable any card that violates these Terms or our Content Policy, at any time and without refund. Anyone can report a card using the report link shown on every reveal page.
11. Availability and scanning
We aim to keep jokeslip available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
QR codes are printed and scanned in the physical world. We cannot guarantee that every code will scan on every device, at every size, under every lighting or print condition. Print your card at the size we provide and test it before giving it to someone.
12. Intellectual property
Gallery content is created or licensed by us and is provided to you for the purpose of the card you purchased. You may print, share, and give away your card freely.
You may not extract, redistribute, resell, or build a competing product from our gallery content.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, jokeslip is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Changes do not reduce commitments already made for cards you have already purchased — in particular, the availability commitment in section 8.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
